This is the place where we are have documented the road we have walked in order to adopt our four children from Brazil and the road we are now on as a family. We are keenly aware that adopting is not just a process we've chosen to go through, but part of God's plan for us and for our children. May He be glorified through the process and through our family!

We bought a painting from this artist.

Here's the painting we bought.

Here are the darlings counting their change after the big shopping trip.

Sundays in Curitiba are Fair days. Vendors of all sorts peddle their wares of all sorts on the streets of downtown Curitiba. Artisan crafts, T-shirts, paintings, foodstuffs, clothes, jewelry and more are all for sale... one right next to the other. We took a bus downtown, stopped for a photo op. at a neat Christmas tree made entirely of recycled soda bottles) and then walked to theFera Longe to pick up some souvenirs and Christmas presents. By the time we were done, everyone was hot, tired and a little grumpy, so we got a taxi back to our home-away-from-home and piled in bed to watch a nice cozy movie together.

This family is a miracle.

That Christmas tree is amazing! Want me to start saving plastic bottles for you? I think it would make a perfect addition to the backyard! :)
