At the end of day 2 as a family, everyone seems to be adjusting well (but it IS an adjustment for everyone!). There were lots of victories today and God is Faithful, friends. He is faithful. Tomorrow we meet with the social worker at the hotel. We're supposed to make sure the kids are clean. I used to think that was an easy request. We'll see what qualifies as "clean" now that we have seen 3 children bathe in sand and make sand angels at a playground while the 4th created dust storms for everyone to enjoy.
There is a lot of work to be done to make sure everyone feels safe, secure, loved and accepted in this family, but we are a family already.
