This is the place where we are have documented the road we have walked in order to adopt our four children from Brazil and the road we are now on as a family. We are keenly aware that adopting is not just a process we've chosen to go through, but part of God's plan for us and for our children. May He be glorified through the process and through our family!

Calendar Contest

Every year our adoption agency publishes a calendar full of pictures of children and families who God brought together using AWAA as His hands and feet.  It's a beautiful visual testimony for adoption, and this year we're submitting our entries!  I sifted through thousands (yes, thousands!) of photos from the last 10 months (yes, 10 months!) looking for great photos of all four children together.  After weeding out the ones with 1/4 goofy faces, 1/4 grumpy faces, 1/4 eyes closed, etc... and because there is a limit of 5 entries per family, I narrowed it down to these six photos.  (It was the best I could do.)

This was our first picture all together on the day we met.

This shot was in Rio shortly before we came home.
